Dosing system S2

Spray dosage is particularly suitable for the dosing of diamond and fluid and for grooved lapping an polishing plates.

  • Recommended use: ELAP 400-700 From a size of ELAP 700 and bigger in combination with a linear feeding unit
  • Number of dosing media: Two dosing media, two glass containers of one two 2 litres
  • Mixing: A mixer for diamond liquid
  • Conveying: A dosing arm for two lapping media conveys the media with compressed air according to the Venturi principle via plastic tubes to the two distribution nozzles.
  • Advantage: Grooved plates are optimally wetted with lapping liquid.

Dosing system P2

Particularly suitable for the dosing of diamond and fluid, but also conventional lapping media such as silicon carbide suspension.

  • Recommended use: ELAP 400
  • Number of dosing media: Two dosing media, two glass containers of one two 2 litres
  • Mixing: A mixer for diamond liquid
  • Conveying: A dosing arm for two lapping media conveys the media with two single-channel hose pumps via two articulated hoses onto the lapping plate.
  • Advantage: No settling, no aerosols, high-precision dosing.

Dosing system P2-3

Particularly suitable for the dosing of diamond and fluid.

  • Recommended use: ELAP 700-1200
  • Number of dosing media: Two dosing media, two glass containers of one two 2 litres
  • Mixing: A mixer for diamond liquid
  • Conveying: A dosing arm for two lapping media conveys the media via three articulated hoses to the lapping plate with two three-channel hose pumps.
  • Advantage: No settling, no aerosols, highly accurate 3-point-dosing

Dosing system UK1-3

Particularly suitable for conventional lapping media.

  • Recommended use: From ELAP 700
  • Number of dosing media: One dosing medium
  • Mixing: A lapping media pump with speed control and tank takes over the functions of stirring and conveying the lapping media. The speed control is necessary so that the abrasive in the lapping oil is not segregated.
  • Conveying: A circulation system prevents lapping medium from settling in the tubes, or clogging up the tubes. Tubes with vent valve are located at the top of the dosing unit so that the tubes are emptied when the pump is turned off.
  • Dosing: Distribution of the lapping medium with a three channel hose pump into three articulated hoses. This ensures that the same amount of lapping liquid is fed precisely in front of each processing station.
  • Advantage: Suitable for all lapping and polishing media, also low viscosity liquids without stabilization.

When retrofitting dosing systems, the system is adapted to the customer‘s machine. The dosing arm is individually adapted to the machine. If a pressure device is available, this setup can be used if necessary.

Dosing system UK1-3A

Dosing system for dosing a conventional lapping medium. If the machine does not have its own SPS control unit, an additional control of the system is required.

  • Mixing: A lapping media pump with speed control and tank takes over the functions of stirring and conveying the lapping media. The speed control is necessary so that the abrasive in the lapping oil is not segregated.
  • Conveying: A circulation system prevents lapping medium from settling in the tubes, or clogging up the tubes. Tubes lines with a vent valve are located at the top of the dosing unit so that the tubes are emptied when the pump is turned off.

Dosing unit for dosing two lapping media. Particularly suitable for dosing oil or water based diamond liquids and fluids as well as for grooved lapping plates up to a machine size of 700 mm. The dosing settings are made by the built-in Siemens LOGO control.

  • Number of dosing media: Two dosing media, two glass containers of one two 2 litres
  • Mixing: A mixer for diamond liquid
  • Conveying: A dosing arm for two lapping media conveys the media with two single-channel hose pumps via two articulated hoses onto the lapping plate.
    Advantage: No settling, no aerosols, high-precision dosing
