Nonwoven NW-Series

Felts were traditionally used as polishing material support in the past. The polishing pads of the NW series are today mainly of synthetic fibers, such as polyester fibers, which are connected with a binder, without interweave. By binding the properties of the pad with respect to the hardness and water absorption / repellency ability can be set. In some cases there is the possibility the pads with abrasive, for example, to impregnate diamond or aluminum oxide. Through this adjustment variables, the pads can be used depending on the application for pre-polishing to finishing. The application range is very large for glass, plastics, semiconductors, but also for stainless steel, non-ferrous metals or silver.
