Polyurethane PU-Serie

The PU series covers the polishing pads made of polyurethane, which are available unfilled or either filled with cerium oxide or zirconium oxide. The polishing pads are available either with or without grooving in different sizes. According to your needs, the pads can be ordered either with or without adhesive back. The pads are conditionable with a diamond dressing tool. In spite of a high stiffness the polyurethane pads are very active due to their porous surface. The pads of PU series stand out due to their long life time and the unique surface treatment. According to the polishing medium, best results in stock removal, flatness and finishing can be achieved. Polyurethane pads are suitable for several applications, e.g. glass, LCD, precision optics, quartz, crystals or semi conductor technics.
